If you love Thai….this place is amazing. Coconut Curry on point. Garlic noodles with shrimp and crab Rangoon were delish. First time…we’ll be back.

Flying Tiger isn’t just a great Thai spot, it’s the kind of place that reminds you why you love going out to eat in the first place. From the moment we walked in, there was this genuine warmth. The staff didn’t just take our order, they guided us, shared honest recommendations, and made us feel like they truly cared about the experience we were about to have. That kind of sincerity is rare, and you feel it. I always order curry at a new Thai restaurant, it’s my test. Their panang curry didn’t just pass, it kind of stole the show. It was rich, creamy, deeply flavorful, the kind of dish you pause for after the first bite because you weren’t expecting it to be that good. I ordered noodles on the side, and they came with a slight crunch. Once they soaked into the curry, they softened just enough while still holding texture. It created this layered bite that felt comforting and indulgent at the same time. My husband ordered the Massaman curry and couldn’t stop talking about it. We shared the papaya salad, bright, fresh, perfectly balanced, and the chicken satay with peanut sauce, which was simple but so satisfying. Absolutely obsessed. 🤍 The garlic noodles with beef are next-level—rich, savory, perfectly garlicky, and the beef is tender and flavorful in that how is this this good way. Every bite hits. On top of that, the staff is genuinely warm and welcoming, the kind of friendly that makes you want to linger and order dessert you didn’t plan on. This place just became my new favorite spot in town, no contest. If you haven’t been yet, fix that immediately.

genuinely my new favorite thai place!! :) i just moved to the area, and my partner and i really wanted to try a thai place out and this one was very close to me! the outside is adorable and the vibe inside is very nice (the music they had on was great too!!). our server was incredibly sweet, and they were very attentive as well. he got our food/drinks to us quickly and everything was genuinely incredible! we got the pad see ew, panang curry, crab rangoons, thai tea, and the mango sticky rice :3 it was all so delicious. can't wait to visit again!

Actually amazing rebrand of the old place. Flying Tiger has some of the best food I've had for the price in San Antonio. I would pick this place over almost any other restaurant I've been to. Ive had the coconut curry, pad see ew, basil eggplant, and garlic noodles, and they were all amazing. The chicken satay (appetizer, skewered grilled chicken) was actually so good! Their sweet tea is so amazing, freshly brewed and perfectly sweet. Gave my girlfriend's mom a handful of free guava candies when she asked where they got it from. Has never disappointed, super awesome staff, great bathroom (super clean and high quality products in there)! Would absolutely recommend!
